Ashworth Mortgage Corp. (AMC) is a boutique style, results driven mortgage brokerage firm specializing in the placement of debt and/or equity for the entire spectrum of income producing commercial real estate.
Founded in 1985 and located in Newton, MA, AMC prides itself on its long standing reputation with both its client base and the lending community. Dick Ashworth and June Fish, who share over 60+ years of combined experience in commercial real estate, are the two principals of AMC and have been working together for over 20 years. As a result, each financing assignment has the benefit of a team approach, which is something that differentiates AMC. At AMC clients only deal with a principal of the firm and not a junior associate/underwriter with limited experience.
Over the years, both Ashworth and Fish have garnered many awards, both as a team and individually, from the institutions they represent.
Richard B. Ashworth
Dick is the founding partner of Ashworth Mortgage Corporaton and has been a mortgage broker since 1980. He is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University. He serves on the Board of Advisors at the New England Sinai Hospital and is also an Overseer for the Newton Wellesley Hospital. DIck is a member of REFA, ICSC, and MBA.
Over his many years in the business, Dick has been responsible for the successful structure and placement of hundreds of transactions involving debt and/or equity.
He resides in Needham, MA.
June K. Fish
June, a broker since 1978, a mortgage broker with AMC since 1988 and Partner at the firm since 1992, is a graduate of Clark University and Suffolk University Law School. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar. June's early experience was in the commercial real estate area of law and development. She brings her practical experience and legal familiarity to AMC's clients. June writes for the New England Real Estate Journal. She has lectured at Harvard Law School and at the Kennedy School. She is past Chairperson and President of the Wellesley Community Center and is an Overseer for Newton Wellesley Hospital. June is a member of the ABA, MBA, REFA and ICSC.
She resides in Wellesley Hills, MA.
